Does anyone know if the HX35 with the bullseye housing will clear the firewall and transmission mount?

I've seen people talk about it, but could never find a definite answer.

Thanks!

Darn! Whats the point of even getting the bullseye exhaust housing then? Is it just for faster spooling?

With regards to what? Why would get the housing in general, or why would people in the Volvo world get the housing if it doesn't fit.

Where have you seen people talking about this?

It was a very old thread, ill try and find it later, but this one guy suggested a hx35 with a bullseye housing. I wasn't sure if he was getting that so it would fit without hitting the mount or if he was getting it so it would spool faster. But from what everyone else said and the item description it was probably for faster spooling and for a differnt wg.

Why would it matter anyways?

I feel like this thread is a waste of time.

Cause I was wondering if using a differnent exhaust housing would change how it mounts and in term cause it to not hit the trans mount...

Forget about it and get the 50 trim. If you can find a good price like you said, then buy it and slap it on. Its all you will ever need and more on a stock motor.

Your ignorance is astounding, and confirmed by the unbelievably stupid questions you're asking. "Will it fit the R manifold?" Hmmm. What kind of flange is on the turbo? What kind of flange is on the manifold? Are they the same? If not, no, it won't fit without modification. There's your confirmation. There is a difference between asking questions because you're actually trying to learn something, versus asking questions because you clearly have not done your homework and/or don't feel like listening to people offering you advice. We are not giving you a hard time because you're new. It's because whenever someone tries to tell you something, you ignore it and frankly that grows old, quickly.

When experienced members on here are telling you something is not a good idea and to pursue other options, why is it so hard to listen? If you want to be a pioneer and make something happen, good for you. I'll be the first to eat crow if you actually make something different work but until then, GTFO. This is exactly how faultywarrior got on everyone's bad side here and is pathetically trying to re-ingratiate himself with the community. Don't be that guy. Or, be that guy, and see how many people continue to try to help you.

You do know... in order to put even a 5031e on.. you need to buy it first right?

I mean, from your first post a long 4 or so months ago you have come a long way in your abilities.

How did I miss another genius question from you? You don't own a turbocharged car and I am willing to bet you aren't going to successfully turbocharge the car you have. Do you really think you are going to slap some random Holset on your NA and have some kick ass car? You ask random pointless questions, acting as though you are going to impress people....why do you bother?
