I'm very interested in this also as I'm not sure what tire size to run.

A lot of the wheels I've been looking at are staggered 17x8, 17x9. I was wondering if anyone has run, or knows of anyone who has run 9" wide wheels in the rear of an 850. I am not interested in x70's with 9" wide rear wheels because they have larger wheel wells. I'm hoping 9" wheels are a possibility without body work (beyond fender rolling).
Please post pics and any info you may have.
TIA

I stand corrected dude!
What size rubber do you have on there? they look very stretched, like a VW look? What size tyres could you get away on them rims with out chewing them up them? this would be interesting if we could get away running 9J on the rear
Cheers Greg

205/40 so the small tire helps. If I could have found a 225/40 i would have done that but I didn't want a larger tire OD than stock. I'm still waiting on some suspension bits for the front but after they come in I plan to roll/trim the fenders
edit no spacers in that pic either.

I had rubbing with 225 so I figured 235 would rub as well. I'll burn through these tires and then look for something a bit wider. I have some traction issues
adam any specifics? I only have cell quality but lemme know, I have to replace my front hub soon anyways.

you'll have to fold the lip, and roll significantly to get 9" wheels on there...unless you're going to stretch some rubber bands.

Just a bunch of general pics from different angles would be great. I want to see if I like the look before I go that route. Pics of fender clearance, brake caliper clearance, and from different angles around the car.
My setup would likely be 17x8 in front and 17x9 in rear, based on the wheels I'm looking at. Would run 215/45/17 all around.
You'll be alright, Adam.
Need pictars, Matt!
