Hey guys, I crashed my s70 a month ago during a snowstorm so i've been patiently looking for another volvo.

Yesterday i bought a 98 v70xc for 600$, 127k, 2.4T, perfect body, two sets of new tires (winter, Summer) No real major issues

Needs: Powersteering pump, rear driveshaft.

Has the typical tracs/abs light. but no check engine lights, runs mint.

Can anyone give me any tips on the v70xc? or things i should know.

Where can i find a cheap rear driveshaft, i may just junkyard one.

You can get a good driveshaft from coloradodriveshaft.com for $430.

Make sure tires are evenly worn or you'll end up needing a viscous coupler. Just went through all this myself. Awd is awesome. Good luck.

Even if yours is a 98, it was a split year for the AWD. So you could have the 99-00 series or the early 98 series.

But that one above is the latest one which I believe only works on 00s.
