I know, there are tons of places BUT, the one thing that I don't want is a hack job!! It's so easy to get crappy tinting done or cheap-o tint used that will just bubble and peel or fade.
I'm in Sarasota but anywhere in FL would be alright since we will be up and down the coast(s).
Also, I believe ME is 35% on all windows except the front. How does that work if you get darker out of state and then return home? I have not made up my mind on what tint to get yet, I really don't want it to look like crap.

My 93 used to have limo tint. Got pulled over with it once when traveling through georgia, they let us go since we claimed florida. Next time pulled over in Florida, had to get it taken off. I was told it does not matter, if you go to a state where your tint is too dark you WILL be responsible.
Florida is 25front/15rear iirc
I had mine done up in jacksonville after i got hit for 3% , it hasn't started turning purple or anything, but the drivers side is peeling bad. That was 6 years ago and they claim lifetime warranty.
Orlando would most likely have some of the cleanest shops, and i would recommend avoiding the jacksonville market if your going for the highest quality. Jacksonville = YO DAWG I GOT DUBS AND SUBS IN MY CADDY
Gainesville sucks too. Have yet to find a decent tint place here.
Hopefully Rob or Jaime or Matt or anyone knows some good places in Orlando.

(doesnt mean he cant let us know if he rolls through orlando though)
But yeah FL is pretty good for tint, just look for the big TINT signs.
Ask what they use, and ask if they warranty it.
If not, its probably walmart brand or some stuff off ebay that was .01 a yard.

If your in the Tampa look up a place called Baywash on Sheldon Rd my girlfriend works there and they do the best work in town. The owners name is Jerimiah he'll hook you up.

Thanks! I will head over there tomorrow...
Do you know if they use 3M?
I still don't know what percentage to get on which windows. I might just to 35% all the way around.

Reading reviews and one said 3M was used. Anyway, I'm going to check and see if they are open today and head over there. It's about a 45 min drive depending on elderly density in Sarasota.

Look at the color of the tint, too. I got my two fronts re-tinted recently with Johnson Films (which are actually good quality), but compared to my old tint it has a slight yellow hue to it. I'm not that fond of it.

Haha, nope sorry
We ended up south of Sarasota so I have to delay a bit. It's a mad house down here with presidence day.
I will get pics when it's done...
