Hey all. I've searched for answers but still have a few questions.
Tomorrow I'm installing a 15g. I own a 98 lpt, it has R ecu, exhaust, intake and stage 0.
Questions are:
I would like to run about 15psi, I realize that's close to the 15gs limit, but am I going to run into fuel cut before that? (I do have an R ecu)
Secondly, about how much more power can i expect from this swap? I read around 270-300 tops. But any idea on a stock R ecu?
Thanks everyone.

Ok, given its a 98 R ecu with the 15G and the slightly higher compression ratio your going to be around 250-260

If your running all of the above plus an MBC to acheive the 15psi you want then id say around 285 hp.

These are just rough guesses. could be more or less depending on the condition of the car.

I think there is a fuel cut at 14 PSI.

Get a LPT tune from lucky, you can run 15 PSI safely without having the risk of boost coming in too early.

Well the 15g is in. And I'm front wheel drive lol. Went fairly smooth. Tight spaces for huge parts, but its in. next is a manual boost controller as I'm topping out at 10psi. But what a difference. Whole new car.
Thanks for the tips.

16T is the same housing and same straight angle flange it will bolt right in place of your LPT 13G, maybe consider it so you wont have to modify your downpipe if you decide to go with a angled flange 15G.

Same with the AWD... if you don't actually own one, or never have, or plan to do so, then shut your pie hole.

"The difference in turbine housings:
There are 3 turbine housing designs (with two variations having been seen internally in the angle-outlet housing, but we will ignore that for now!). Conical outlet flange (94-95 850 turbo, 95 850 T5-R), straight outlet flange (96-97 850 R, T5 and GLT, 98 model S70 R, T5, And GLT), and angled outlet flange (All cars 99+ excluding the newer cars with KKK turbos)."

Pulling horsepower numbers out of your ass is not the right way to give suggestions.

If that's the game we're playing...

OP, you're probably looking at an increase anywhere from 2-400 horsepower which brings your total to anywhere from 150 to 746 horsepower depending on how much you had previously.
