Not sure how I feel about it though.
The rendering makes it look like the designers couldn't decide if they want it to be a small V60 or an extended C30...

If they make it a Polestar V40 with everything the C30 did then maybe I will forgive them for the lack of wagoness.... maybe.

I wish... I'm hoping for the 250 hp T5 engine out of the S60 at best, and I think even thats a long shot

No maybe about it!
But at best you'll probably only be able to get a Polestar tune that adds 23 hp and 29 lb-ft of torque for the low price of $1,295 like the current C30 Polestar tune... So less forgivness will be granted.

Nice find! Glad its getting that motor, but looks like it has way too much extra crap to be the "simple, light weight, stripped down" Volvo I was hoping for.
