I keep throwing this p0101 mass airflow circut low I have changed the MAF 5 times with used good MAF's. changed the BARO. checked boost leaks and vac leaks. the only thing i can think is my BOV is leaking and the boost leak test shows its not. is it possible my air filter being oiled is causing the MAF to get oil on the sensor and causing it to go bad. any help would be great thanks

when you oil the filter do you put it right back on the car? because you're not supposed to put it on for like 24-48 hours to allow it to dry a little.

lol. this has been happening for a few weeks now my CEL burned out so i randomly scan it when i am at my shop and it always shows p0101. the idle is slightly rough like 50rpm rise and fall. and somtimes when i come to a light it drops from 900 to about 500 then goes back up.

Clean the maf with crc maf cleaner and get a spare filter so when you clean and oil it you can still drive your car. Let it dry for 24-48 hours and don't put so much on in the first place. It does not take much to make these filters work.
Even well dried oiled filters will eventually contaminate the maf...just happened on my Tahoe two weeks ago. Cleaned the maf and away she went...
I have heard of people baking them in an oven (not used for food prep) at VERY low temps to help set the oil but I've not tried it...

are you using oem used mafs or some aftermarket? I've used cardone remanufactured and they blow, I have a guy that can get you a brand new one for dang cheap.
