Aight dudes and gals! I've been looking for some different places to do a meet and if you were at the last meet you might remember me talking about doing a camping trip! Well I wanted to do something a little different from the beach (even though the beach kicks A$$) so I started looking up in the mountains. Back in 2010 I did a European car cruise up to Palomar Mountain and the roads leading up to the peak are awesome!! Great for some spirited driving! I looked up the route that we used to come down from the mountain and we ended up right off of the 15 just south of Temecula. We'd take SR76 and head out towards Pauma Casino and either get off at Nate Harrison Rd or continue on SR76 to S Grade Rd to head up to the mountain. There is Palomar St Park up there and the camping fees are pretty decent, there's also a couple shops restaurants up there we could hit up. If you Google Palomar Mountain you will be able to see the roads I'm talking about, and if you Google Palomar Mountain State Park you'll be able to find out more info on the camp sights. Obviously we'd have to pick a weekend to do this but we could all meet at the exit in the late morning, drive up to the mountain, have lunch and hang out, then check in to the camping site that afternoon set up our tents and enjoy some of Tom's home brew!!!! I mean, what ever brew we bring!!LOL So what do you guys think?? Any thoughts??

That place looks awesome! I'm going to Western Meet up in SLO at the end of the month so thats my big Volvo weekend of the month. I'd possibly be down later in the spring?

Sorry, forgot to post up. I'm kind of screwed this month for meets, unless it's like half a day kind of thing, and IF I do get some free time it's most likely going to help Paul motor swap his 850. After this month though would work much better for at least me.

Since this is just a feeler thread and there is only like three people who read this shitt, how bout we think about a cabin rental for like two nights? With the camp sites fee per car plus site rental, if we split up a rental it wouldn't be much more if we had like 10 people, plus we can shower and be loud and rowdy all night long lololol, just a thought.

Tom knows, all I do is rage, Volvo SoCal woods vacation is gonna be beast mode!!!

Another thing....WTF happened to a bunch of the guys from our Malibu meet?? I'm not talking bout Mitch and Colin, cause I talk to them frequently, but what happened to the other like 10 guys that were there, none of them responded to a couple PM's I sent out, did we scare them away?? Maybe it was a combo of beach lesbians/dolphin rape talk/mountain dew/bikers that made them never want to come on VS again hahaha

Oh and Greg, I've talk to Greg. Ok mabe I just thought there was a ton of people, and it was just the Philippino crew that made it seem large haha, disregard my nonsense

Greg is still here, just have like 15 jobs, so a little busy. Ohh and my brother understeered into a curb and bent the subframe on the IPD mobile, and my other car is sitting there waiting for rods. Might be showing up in some 3 pointed action (Mercedes) next time. Dont worry about me I read lol.

Ohh defintely thats the only way I roll. Well you guys figure something out, this month I might be a little caught up as well, I have no weekends off this month, if you guys set up a date I'll see what I can do. I'm at work right now, don't get off till 5 in the morning lol.

Lol more like dealing drugs, I work in a hospital Pharmacy on the weekends, and a reputable Mercedes mechanic on the weekdays. But would much rather do what you suggested lmao. You've been here a couple months now, what happen with the interview you were going to have?

I have one, but I just figured out yesterday from my dads boss that I'm not being reimbursed for the last three months of working. Long story, but it's just going to be a real PITA to deal with, so I'm looking for a job, and my dad is as well, but he's getting paid lolol

Meh, it's a learning experience I guess, always gotta put it into perspective, it got me out of the house lololol. Now if I was living by myself again and paying rent, I'd be shooting the place up tomorrow lol

I'm looking to get back into restaurants for awhile, pay off debt, student loans, etc. we shall see how that goes, maybe I'll go back into customer service for a bit, only if it's for a business that I won't want to kill all of the customers after I see them, which is hard to find. Or maybe I'll stand on the street corner showing some leg lololol
