Is it normal for my long term fuel trim levels to be negative 10%?

Hmm lol I have the opposite problem
In is 26% running rich as hell, I'd say it may be running lean but that's not a total bad thing I'd ring a Volvo dealer and ask them what is the acceptable long term fuel trim parameters are make out u are a mech by saying that fancy word would get u in the door as most dealers hate divulging that kind of Info out

acceptable trims are -10% to 10% the closer to 0 the better anything else represents a problem with the fuel system or vacuum system.

I don't know what is "acceptable" but IIRC, LTFT +/- 20% sets off CEL. LTFT is designed to fluctuate and it is impossible for it to lock in to a zero reading or even close to zero and stay there...that is why you have a range of 40% before it is a problem. If you watch it on a steady highway cruise it will be much more stable than when you are in stop and go traffic. It is a problem when the engine management system cannot influence the variable parameters enough to keep the trim in control.
To answer the OP question yes, that is normal
