I would like to see pics of the cars too guys.., very interested... I put the v90 wiper on which is certainly nicer than the stock 850 wiper IMO

Do you have a pic of the v90 wiper? Will it fir on a 850 wagon? Thanks, Sean

I normally just use a panel popper to release the tabs on mine dude. Go slow and they should come off intact.

If you don't break most of the tabs you will be lucky. The bottom portions pulls down and the top portion pulls straight out.

They break. It's inevitable. Worst interior part of the wagons is the hatch pieces.

Okay so the bottom pulls downward (it seems) and the middle part I just pull straight down? It seems to be getting stuck on the handle opener part

There are a few reasons why I chose to delete it. I like the cleanliness and I had never seen it done before on an 855. I hardly used the rear wiper and when I did it seemed to just smeer the dirt around. This was much cheaper and easier than the v90 wiper, which does look very good.

Also because weight reduction.

weight reduction, key. lol

i do agree, i like having the rear wiper in rain and snow but its not the most efficient swipe...

Agreed! I use mine all the time in the rain for cleaning spray off and I don't have the weather like you guys in NE or NW do.... I think also went from a 17" blade to a 18" just to clean a little more glass. Can't remember if I did this to my vR but I know I used a bigger blade on my 245...

I hardly used the rear wiper and when I did it seemed to just smeer the dirt around.

Maybe that's because you don't have a rear wing... I noticed a big difference between having one and not having one. The wing keeps it cleaner by deflecting air down and blowing dirt/snow/rain off at speed.

We get enough rain here that it makes little difference. I will say that it helps, but its not substantial enough. The driver of that saffron you see is a good friend of mine and his wagon gets just as dirty as mine does after the same trip to Seattle full of liquid sunshine.

What! You have rain in the Pacific Northwest? You are S-ing me! :P If your wiper was sitting like the Saffrons I can see why you got rid of it... ;)
