Hello I own a 1997 Volvo 2.5 manual s70 and I saw a wrecked Volvo s40 that had the newer XC grille and I was wondering if it would fit my car

no there are minor differences.
99 v70xc x2 sold
98 v70xc nautic blue -currently being restored engine swap possibly
98 s70 T5 - Silver on charcoal.
