Anyone have any pictures showing creative mounting options for rotating the battery 90 degrees?
Won't all the water drain out of it...lol

home depot: 1/8th in threaded rod. couple nuts, and a piece of aluminum. make a hook out of the rod, use drill bit. done done and done.

Sounds like mine except I opted for a tie down strap out of the back of my roommates truck instead of a zip tieI relocated my cruise control to a box in my garage, tossed the battery tray in the trash and zip tied my battery sideways. Didn't cost a penny.
TB members would be proud.

Thats one hell of a PCV system if I don't say so myself. Is that upper can custom?

instead of fubaring a mount, cuttign it shaving it to fit perpendicularly to what it was just remove it and call it a day

Do you have it in a sealed box with drain and vents to the outside of the car, or did you just mount a battery tray in the wheel well and call it good?i personally see it quiet easy but to each his own right its still a nice big option that not many have done

however, no the wheel well is a quiet stupid idea.
i don't know if many people know this but trunks have vents in them anyways for w/e reason u would need a vent
here's a point to your vent/sealed box idea......bmw's have their battery's in the rear. exact spot as mine, but its embeded because bmw engineered the spot there for it, BUT the trunk carpet goes over top it and from what i saw there is absolutely no holes for any sort of draining or venting.
