Hello, I can get access to diamond plate floor mats for the x70 series and maybe others if the dimensions and angle of the foot-well is the same. The plates would 1/8th thick aluminum with the characteristic diamond pattern. They would be cut to the specific dimensions of the foot-well and cover most of it.I may also be able to powder-coat them, but it would take longer to get to you as they are made to order. At first, it will only be x70 cars because i know i can make them fit. (i have a 98 s70). If anyone has any light on different sizes/angles, i'd love to know. They would be about $90 a set, drivers and passengers foot-well.

Would you guys be interested? Just trying to see before i get the ball rolling.

Thanks!

Ill give you a hint. Aluminium floor mats hold up worse than cardboard ones. Powdercoated ones will be funny to see though.

Interesting idea....but I'll stick with my thick rubber mats that actually catch and stop mud/water. Good luck with this, wish the best for you.

We just used paint or sometimes Rinoliner. Rally has a passanger side brace out of diamond plate sometimes. That count?
