Hey guys,

Scored a craftsman tool chest (a top one) at a yard sale, with a bunch of tools, for $80. Going through all the tools and such now, and found this guy. It's the only tool that came with the box that I have no idea what it is. The ends are etched for gripping it, and the middle piece goes up and down with no resistance at all. Any ideas?

Looks like a dent puller for auto body repair. Pretty sure you use them with tack on (weld on) rivets and use the slide to do the pulling of the dent via the rivet.
