Hey guys I picked up a t5 Ecu from an 850 Turbo at the junk yard today

Having some problems:
I was told with it in I'd boost at or around 10psi I definitely feel alot more power and no lag but I'm still only boosting at 7psi vs my previous 5 psi I'm not getting any cels and it starts right up. It did start vibrating a little but that could have always happened since I have a bad top motor mount and leaking PS pump

Update

It holds boost pressure at 4psi then down shifts where as before it would down shift right at 1psi and I'm getting better MPG? Weird

If you are running it in a 97 GLT then enjoy. No issues at all. If you are running it in a 98 X70 GLT, take it out or dont use your air conditioner. Gary

It's been a while since I ran a stock t5 ecu, someone correct me if I'm wrong but isn't stock t5 set to 7.5 or something like that? And the R was 10?
If that's how it is then your right on target.

Supposed to be 9lbs but his turbo could be tires, his wastegate could need adjusting. His CBV could be torn. Should I go on? :) Oh and his boost gauge could be off.

You need to tell us if you put it in an 850 or S70.

Its in a v70xc

Found that my fuel pump takes a little longer to go up to pressure when key is on and when i shut the car off it hisses from air vents. So far though running wise its mint.

850 ecu in a 70 series is not a good idea...
Lets just say your ac compressor will no longer like you...

ask the PO of my car how I know...

Could this be happening due to the 850 ecu being M4.3?

They say M.4.4 starts the car faster than M4.3 so maybe.......I wouldnt downgrade from 4.4 > 4.3 though, i thought it was the other way around...

The ac pinout is dfferent and it will do dastardly things to your ac. Other then that it will run fine.

There's a million things that can cause boost pressure issues. However, I bet that at least a portion of the issue is with the boost gauge. Most boost gauges are not calibrated. They are just a rough guess. Beyond that, the motor is 15 years old, stock intercooler piping couplers are rubber and don't last, CBV could be damaged, wastegate tired and/or needs adjusting, turbo could be tired, boost leaks of all different types, etc etc etc. If it's faster and you've done a good stage zero then just be happy. As for the ac, I seam to remember a thread where someone rewired things so the ac was fine. I wonder if Lucky could chime in on the ac wiring difference as I'm sure it's within the serial bus and may be able to be adjusted just via tuning.

Honestly I'm doing an AC delete anyway so I'm not worried I have done stage zero so I'm very happy!:)

AC delete: do you plan on ever reselling this vehicle? if so then I would shy against that!
