Going to be installing my turbo soon, I'd like to rent a wastegate adjustment tool. (Probably the IPD one?)

I'll pay a deposit (you determine) plus shipping, ship it back to you, then you refund me the deposit minus $10 for your time.

Need ASAP within two weeks max, thank you!

do you have a fuel pressure gauge or can you borrow one from one of the chain auto parts stores? if so, you can make one quite cheaply

this is my Kent-Moore wastegate tester that I bought 2nd hand. all you need is the gauge, some rubber tubing, a vac tee, and a blood pressure bulb($6.25 w/ free shipping on ebay, see item # 230785022148)

I used a blood pressure cuff that I ordered off ebay...paid it 15$ shipped I believe.

Basically you just need the gauge and the bulb and a vacuum T-fitting. The gauge is in mmHG but you can convert from PSI to mmHG.

My ARD Tune + 16T says to be at 3.7PSI at the wastegate, so thats 191mmHG.

Didn't realize they were that cheap! Guess I'll go that route then and just buy one.

DO those things have a one way valve in them or do you just squeeze and hold?

I would assume so but not sure. The video IPD has of how to use the pump shows them pumping away then letting go and it holds the pressure. I don't see how this could work without either a check valve or a closed system.

There is air release valve between the bulb and hose, put pressure in with bulb and close the valve, then slowly release the air until your desired number on the gauge.
