I know the usual "do what you want" answer, but I'm seriously considering this and would like some constructive feedback.
My 850 wagon is stock other than H&R springs, full stage 0, runs great, looks great, basically good to go for another 50k.(currently 165k)
I have an opportunity to get a:
1970 144s black, red interior, manual, straight, recient paint, very little to no rust (CA car), stock.
I can't have any more car projects being my VW is taking up the entire garage. So to get The 144 the Plats gotta go.
It kinda seems the safe rout would be to keep the Plat and roll.....but I really think a 144 with a nice stance and wheels looks good. Rear wheel drive and a manual is appealing too.
Let's hear it.

Keep the 855, it's a reliable DD with cargo space.

I know. The 855 is definitely the safe rout, but even at my age I still have a....not so safe side.
