Hey all, was curious if anyone has or is currently running the Eurosport Tuning downpipe. If so, how do they like it? I was looking at the IPD DP which I know would be a solid product, but at about $150 less($749.00 for EST) I'm really tempted to go this route. Assuming ofcourse it's a quality DP. The only think I noticed visually is that the EST dp seems to have a bit harsher turn right after the flange... Wondering how that would effect flow. Anyway, any feedback would be appreciated!

I've been running the EST angle flange DP for roughly 2+ years and its fantastic, top quality. Direct bolt on, no fitment issues, and the hi-flow cat that comes with it passes emissions with flying colors. Great DP in my opinion.

Sweeeet! Looks like I'll be going with the EST dp then. Not too worried about it passing emissions, even though I'm in CA... Haha. I have a smog shop here I always go to that doesn't give a sh-. Used my MSD CARB sticker for my FMIC, no questions. Haha. Thanks for the reply! Stoked to see how it works on my setup.

Check the Announcements forum as EST was having an exhaust sale. Forget if it was April or May.

Darn, ended in April.

I think IPD has their sale coming up soon.

EST and IPD downpipes are nice but too pricey. OBX are alright but the welds scare me on most of their products. Getting one made for you at a local shop for $150-300 is the best option in my opinion. You also get something made to your specs.

Well I was originally just going to go full OBX. But... I'm sure I wouldn't have been satisfied with the quality in the long run. You get what you pay for! Well, sometimes you get lucky... Haha. I have no problems with paying more for something I know is going to last though. As far as fabbing the DP, I was considering this route as well. I'd rather just go with the direct fit DP. Saves me some work that way.

I was one of the first ones to get the OBX tuboback. The OBX downpipe in particular isn't the best quality. The weld near the top was really poor causing a big slit to open up. I had to take it off and have it tig welded.

If you do decide to go with OBX, I would have a shop re-do that one weld for an extra $20 to save money and trouble in the long run.

They no longer have the weld near the top. My kit (OBX) is around 2 years old and zero problems with it.

I recently had my weld at the flange for the OBX fail. I knew it was only a matter of time, it's pretty much a no filler fusion weld.

Doesn't matter much to me as I just re-welded it. But to some it may.

Been running it ~2.5 years or more now.

I WAS the first one with the OBX setup. I like it so much I have had 5 others since. Never had the first problem. The vband clamps arent the best but they work. It is by far the best bang for the buck out there. I have never had the first problem with any of the kits I have owned.

Yeah the v-band clamps are junky, but you can get better ones on eBay too.. i mean in the category of "bang for buck" the OBX dp excels.

With parts/time, I wouldn't be able to make one cheaper. Unless I had everything I needed just laying around.
