So as it says I am having an issue with the rear hatch on my 98 v70.

I replaced both hatch struts 2 days ago and now the "rear hatch open"light come on at random. When I hit bumps, accelerate, anytime really. but the hatch isn't unlatched, it even does it with the hatch is locked.

So is there something I need to adjust on the hatch sensor? Or could it be something else?

Since you were in that part of the car,
you might take a look at the hatch wiring.
It's been known to break. It runs up into the
hatch hinge behind the driver's side tail light.
