I will need to see one in person on a v70r bumper to accurately formulated an opinion.

I messed with this more after work and don't think it will easily flatten out on 850.. The radius of the bumper and corners help create the pout, and trimming that ridge off would leave the screws too close to the leading edge of bumper. One could fab some brackets, I suppose, to hold up'the middle section, or some heat gun action, but I'm not going there. In the final analysis, back to V70 after I do something about its bumper.
