Want to pickup a used trans to rebuild for my 2k s70 lpt. It's a 4speed auto box and was wondering what years and models have same trans?

Same answer as on the other forum, 99 and 2000 4 speeds are the same.

Please post pictures if you do, I was tempted to crack mine open last week but common sense got the best of me. Not many people here know what the inside of an AW52 looks like.

I will! Thought it would be easier to find a core trans but I guess because it can only be 99 or 2000 not so. I am researching parts and a manual which is not readily available either. Oh well that's life with a Volvo!
