On clearance sale for $450

Volvo 850 front mount intercooler kit

FMIC kit for 850 manual turbos and 98 manual turbos. Not for autos...yet.

I have 25 kits on the way and need to gauge interest so I can figure out if I should order more right away or not. Unfortunately there have been countless delays getting these on the shelf and we're still looking at 3-4 weeks before I get the rest of the pipes in. I may take pre-orders if there is a lot of interest. (this will guarantee that you get one and allow me to order more..)

  • pipes are 2.25" polished aluminum, except for throttle body 90 deg which is 2.5" to help with the transition to an NA TB.
  • core is 24" x 6" x 2.5"
  • includes all couplers to hook up to turbo throttle body or NA throttle body and all clamps needed.

Wow! That's a pretty sweet deal, considering I still remember the days of paying $1000 for a full size bell IC. Added to my "list!"

Would you be interested in selling just the throttle body section as a kit as well? I know many people, myself included, have some not-so-professional looking rigs to make the NA throttle body work with the IAC and FMIC. So a kit containing the pipe with the IAC bung on it, the lower IAC hose and the throttle body reducer.

thanks I wanted to keep it reasonably priced.

Looks sick dude, I wish my V70 was manual!

Thanks D, I probably will have the hot and cold sides available separately for the time being as well. although I have figured out pricing and availability yet.

Hey,

it's the transmission cooling lines yes, but I'm not sure if anything else is in the way as well. I didn't have an auto handy when I made any of the prototypes. I haven't even tried fitting this on an auto so I'm not sure how many changes would need to be made to make it work. It will fit in with the stock airbox and airbox inlet pipe which was one prerequisite. If I can update the cold side to make it work for autos in the future it will.

I was planning on that just need to figure out logistics because I currently have them made in complete sets.

I think id be willing to give it a shot with the auto... I have a aux trans cooler so no lines to the radiator.. no air box, batt turned sideways... so there is a BIG hole there..

Im so excited...

Oh and yes... Snabb painted in the front would be bad ass!!
