I imagine it would take some sort of power greater than that of a couple AA batteries?

Couple 9 volts should do the trick.

I guess we can either hook it up to a car or use a generator if anyone has one

I know Mike Lim came up with the front end grille idea but I would like to add to it. What about doing a whole car without a drivetrain? You could keep all the food in the trunk and cook from the front.I know it probably wont happen but it's a good idea, plus it would add to the originality for what we want to do for Carlisle. Maybe get some vinyl for the sides that say"Volvo grillin@ Carlisle"

I think an 850 trunk seal better and keep insulated. We could probably retrofit fridge parts. Justin your an HVAC wizard right?

That would be badass if we could make it work somehow. Would be sweet if the whole trunk was made into some kind of cooler or something!

I'm in for table flipping and the endless destruction of the Audi folks @ beer pong, plus I'll dress like a hipster all weekend and ride my fixie around, cuz that's what dubber's do.

In regards to the grill/car; why don't we just convert Brian's 244 into business up front grill for Ash and party in the back for all responsible adults of legal drinking age in PA. You know, if Brian is cool with that.

Are you implying people don't read? Blasphemy....

Yeah, unfiltered. Let it rest before you drink it, and be sure to pour it into a glass. Sorry Joe, I'll bring a few cases next time I make it out your way!

I don't know if i'm ready to give up the car  we could use my parts in something else (trunk lid too if it's a 244).

it does make some sense to use one trunk for beer *and* meat, especially if it's going to be converted into a fridge.

You shouldn't have given up my 245... That would have made a great grill! :(

If I can get my hands on a 240 or 740/60 el cheapo then ill convert it into a grill. The trunk can be retrofitted very easily. A little welding, a few vents, some gas burner and were in business. Charcoal would be better but that would require some serious heat shielding as well as actual beds for the charcoal to sit in.

Grill options are endless as far as car grills go.
