hey all i need help with my new to me 2000 S70 non turbo. i am sure i need a new oil seperator. But it seems there are a couple of diffrent types. it blows smoke out of the oil filler cap and has fumes from the tailpipe that will make you sick. i have the vac diagram and will post it when i figure out how! How hard is this job for someone who does normal maintience from oil changez to brakes? Has anyone written a guide on how to do so? i have searched however am not sure if they are for the oil seperator or the flame trap. Does my 2000 have a flame trap?
thanks in advance,
Paul

i had an 850r that looked like this however my s70 does not. i am guessing that i have a totally diffrent system than what is pictured. Small changes through the years. i really need to know what oil trap to purchase and woukd like a guide on replacement? if possible. Thanks for you link however i dont think this is the right one....

im pretty sure a nasty sulfer smell from the tail pipe is indicative of a bad catalytic converter.
