Just got my C70 running. While it was down, I replaced the rear tail lights with LED bulbs.
With the car in Park, and idling, I went out back, and noticed my reverse lights were in a strobe-ing mode.
I haven't had time to investigate yet (car is still in my shop), but does anyone know what might cause this? Strange....

LED Bulbs? Not sure who I got them thru. I can't access my eMail right now. I just transfered my account.
But I think it was either autoillumination or superbriteleds
Would the bulbs matter? Transmission is in Park. Shouldn't be any current to them.

Sorry, I missed the "car in Park" piece. I was just wondering if this was a DIY job and you were having problems or if these were purchased replacement-type LED bulbs. No idea on your issue, unfortunately.

depending on what type of bulbs that is normal.
ive got an '06 mini that when you use the keyless entry to lock or unlock the car the leds turn on and stay on (regular bulbs dont)
it usually has to do with how low voltage the bulbs are. any power at all in the electrical lines can get them on. even just residual voltage seeping through with the car off. Our cars really arent designed for LEDs on brake lights plus they arent very visible during the day because the light pattern isnt right for the type of housing.

there may be bulbs that can correct this with built in resistors otherwise you have to add resistors inline to the wiring.

12v relay should do the trick. Read up on it
