interesting debate...
for any new comers that are just skimming the posts here the doner car I have is to replace me beat up bodywork only...
It has no engine or tranny just a rolling chassis...
I am selling what ever interior parts people are interested in by the end of this weekend and will be taking any and all parts related to the engine that is still left in the car IN CASE I can use anything in an upcoming turbo/5spd swap...
however I am not planning on swapping in the RN motor but the 98 and prior T5 so most of these pieces may be of no use to me
Need Help Upcoming N/a To Turbo Swap

There might actually be a lot of parts I can use from this car but the purpose of me getting it had nothing to do with the turbo swap...
I just figured while I have it and its a turbo car I should just take anything turbo related in case it might help with the T5 swap...
And I have to say there is nothing wrong with retrofitting and fabrication. What I mean by that is just because Its a different generation with different electronics and a different engine doesnt mean I cant use parts...
just because I will be dropping in a T5 with an M56 doesnt mean it has to end up being the exact same setup you can get from the factory.

depending on what kind of deals I can find I may go with a standalone EMS and make my own harness, but the harness depends on what I change for accessories.
