Hey VS, Good to be back. Picked up a 1998 S70 T5 Manual (Metallic Gray on Tan), 125k miles, single owner, originally purchased in Germany.
I picked it up in Arizona and drove it back to San Francisco. It feels like shifting is getting harder. Not much, it feels like something needs to be lubed up a bit. Metal on metal feeling from physically sliding the shifter. Thoughts, things I should check, etc? Thanks fellas'.

Amazing and this acquisition didn't require a dozen threads about what car to buy.

Have you tried disconnecting the cables at the trans and see if its just gummed up cables?
