I have been in the process of replacing my alternator, however, with the alternator bolts undone and the battery cable disconnected from the alternator i cannot seem to pull it out. The aux. drive belt is loose and not holding the alternator. Is there another bolt that I am missing from the ECU side?
Thanks

There are 4 bolts I believe, 2 on the rear of the alternator I believe. It's a bitch and even when all the bolts are out you still have to wiggle it out (no homo)

assuming 850/ -98 x70, there are three bolts - two long ones top & bottom, then the outer one through the PS bracket
you can see them in this pic, ignore the belt routing

-99,00 completely different design, bolts go into the face of the ancillary bracket instead of longitudinally.

I think I missed the bottom bolt on the Driver side. I got the long bolt out on the intake manifold side out, but not the other side. Haynes manual is a stupid resource...
