S60 Slow Turn Over

My 2001 S60 periodically takes about 5 sec to start and then does turn over and runs fine. What could be causing this issue?

could be any number of things. a dying battery, bad battery cable connections, starter may be going bad, or it may even be a problem with your ignition system. any other symptoms?
