I scored an OEM tow hitch for my V90 and picked up the Curtis trailer light controller from FCP Euro. I'm looking for ideas on how to wire into the car's wiring cleanly for the trailer. I read that some Volvo's come pre-wired otherwise with provisions for trailer wiring. Any idea where I would look to find such a thing?

Thanks.

One the sedan, the tail light lamp boards each have two connectors so that the same board can be used on either side of the car. Only one connector is normally used. and this leaves the other available. So the simple thing is to extract the tail light harness from a 940/960/S90 parts car and use this as a pig tail to tie into the cars electrical. Run the harness via the same route as the existing harness, plug into the open connectors, and put the controller under one of the little removalbe floor boards, then coil the trailer light harness connector up inside one of the tail light access doors, pull it out only when needed. You'd never know it was there.

Not sure how this would translate to a wagon, not sure how the tail lights are set up.

Made my own controller too: http://www.threefatt...deConverter.jpg

Ok I did find the factory diagram and it appears there is factory trailer wiring on your model, attaching pdf, though this doesn't have the index that identifies each item number. I can find that if you need it.
