If it was a actual GT40 you saw we might of taken this differently. But its just a overpriced Ford with a DOHC truck motor and a blower.

Umm this is my uncles car. This car is a "Ford GT 40". The 40 represents how tall the car is from the bottom of the fram to the top. Visited him in California one year and thought I would take some pics. Wasn't planning on putting them on here. Accidentally stayed logged in an my friends posted them.

RangerDanger, thanks for sharing the pics, definitely a very cool car. I'd be pretty stoked if someone in my family drove such a beast. The supercharged 5.4L is an excellent motor with tons of potential. Plenty of folks making over 1k HP.

The 40 represents how tall the car is from the bottom of the fram to the top.

Who the hell would measure from the fram oil filter, let alone use one on a Ford GT 40.
