Both items SOLD

Volvo TD04HL with 7cm^2 angled flange turbine housing. Was rebuilt by Blouch with a 35lb/min billet compressor wheel and brand new genuine MHI clipped turbine wheel and shaft. According to Blouch it flows substantially more than a 19T due to the bigger wheel dimensions and more advanced aero. Comes with an aftermarket 7.35 psi wastegate actuator. Currently has an o-ring sealed synapse blanking plate installed, but I can swap it out for the original CBV if desired. Turbo has been on my car for about a year and seen a little over 4000 miles. Asking $500 shipped.

New style IPD downpipe for angled flange turbos (just the downpipe from the IPD turbo-back exhaust). Has hole drilled for 1/8 NPT EGT probe right after turbine flange. $200 shipped.

yea any numbers etc? Can Lucky tune me for this one?!?! ;)

This would probably be a K24? Except easier line connections!

Never dyno'd, but Lucky did provide tuning for it. It was the fastest TD04 powered Volvo I've ever been in.

I would compare it to a K24 like you said Greg. The turbine is of course still a TD04HL (smaller than a K24) but the clipping helps a little with boost controllability and top end. The cold side though is quite impressive. The Blouch 35lb/min billet wheel is even bigger than the compressor wheel in the Hahn Super 16G I just bought. It also sounds beautiful. Even with my stock air box and turbo inlet pipe, you could really hear it spool. I liked it so much I'm considering getting Blouch to stuff one of their billet 18GXT or 20GXT wheels in my Hahn TD05H.

Were you controlling boost with just the stock BCS?

I have been using a Forge UNOS MBC only. With the clipped turbine wheel and both intake and exhaust cam retarded all the way, boost came in smoothly between 3000 and 3500 rpm, which is no earlier than Lucky would have tuned for anyways. With the MBC, boost was more consistent and had smoother transitions following throttle input than with the TCV.

Sale is now pending, got a deposit today and I will be holding the turbo through Sunday for the buyer. If for some reason the sale does not go through, I'll post back here.

That's the same compressor wheel in a standard 16G, or VFxx turbo (46.3mm/60mm)...compared to the 19T's 46mm/58mm. I'm thinking it would flow a little bit better than a 19T. But it's still got the stock dimensions on a new clipped turbine wheel...so it will spool quick. Make SURE you have rods installed, who ever buys this! ;)

This is why I asked how he was controlling boost. You most certainly don't need Hbeams for this turbo but an EBC to bring in boost slowly isn't a bad idea.

Rods are not required with a good tune and/or proper throttle control, don't be silly.

Turbo and DP are now sold!

For the record, this is NOT a standard 16G wheel. And you do NOT need upgraded rods. Funny how other members know more about the stuff I've been running on my car than I do

 Right? Went through the same thing with my super60. Congrats on the sale though, would've loved to see that on a dyno with some meth !
