I ordered some 5x108 to 5x100 wheel adapters from adaptitusa.com.

I absentmindedly ordered adapters that didn't come with the hardware I need to bolt them to my hub. I don't have studs so the nuts that they sent me to bolt the adapter to the non-existing studs on my hub are useless.

Does anyone know where I can get some lugbolts or studs/nuts that can properly fit my adapters to the hubs?

Can the oem volvo lugbolts be used? I was only working with them briefly in the garage and got the idea of grinding them down so they don't stick out past the adapter.

Thanks

There should be recesses on your wheels that you are using that should accompdated the heads of the lugs that may protrude past the adapter. If you cannot get them to fit, ipd sells tuner style lugs last I checked that should be shorter.

Use your OEM bolts to hold the adapter on the hub and use the included nuts to hold the wheel to the adapter.

Otherwise you can buy the hardware needed, I know Motorsports tech has the right thread pitch and length since I got mine from them.

FWIW Motorsports Tech recommends torquing them, driving 5 miles then retorquing to ensure they're tight. We're you using the stock bolts to hold the adapter to the hub? That's why I'm glad I paid the extra to buy the hardware all from Motorsports tech when I ordered my spacers.

Consider yourself lucky as hell!

Could've been a lot worse, i'm very lucky. I was using the stock bolts to hold the adapters to the hub - but now I'm looking for alternatives because the oem bolts are not sitting in the adapters flushly. Furthermore my ebrake was not working so without it I did not torque down the adapter to the hub enough - I did some ghetto work to keep the rotor/hub from rotating while torquing the lugbolts down and this is 100 % what caused the wheel to come off.

Just a heads up to anyone who may be planning to run adapters - learn from me and DO IT RIGHT. Adaptitusa makes good products, this happens when you do a poor job installing.
