I need some help!
I own a 2005 S60R. I recently took the car in for service to investigate the illustrious Anti Skid Service Required message. The problem all began after I hit a nasty pot-hole. So the mechanic has told me 1. the rear brake pressure sensor is bad and needs to be replaced. I choked at the 450 dollar price tag on that, but said go for it! Once they replace the sensor, they still were having code issues. 2. They now believe it is the brake control module that will have to be pulled from the car and re-manufactured to a tune of about 1150.00. Once again choked.
They are not 100% sure this is the real problem, and I am not 100% sure that I want to pay that much money for something that is not going to fix the issue.
What do I do? The R has DTSC and since the problem started after I turned the car on for the first time after hitting the pot-hole.
Any assistance or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

This.

There are many reasons why that message comes on, specific codes are the only way to start troubleshooting.

OK, so I finally got the code that came up. I was under the impression it was more than one, but I was mistaken.

The active code is BCM0133

Thoughts?

Could be the bcm. Would need.to check signals and brake pressure. I had an xc90 with similar dtc and it needed a bcm to fix it. Had another that the dtc happened 1 time. Erased and hasnt came back.
