Why wouldn't you ask the seller of the calipers? If they're selling them to fit a Volvo, they should know what rotor to use. If not, that's pretty lame.

I'm the seller. I had problems with the guy I bought them off of... he accidentally got me the wrong caliper for the rotor he sold me.

I told him that I wasn't positive what rotor they would fit although he payed me before he asked the question.
I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to brakes.

IF for some other reason they don't fit a volvo that I did not know about i'll be willing to give you a full refund.
I was under the impression that it there wouldn't be any problems other than getting the right rotor size.

Was planning on shipping them monday so I still have them.

I still want them, I just want to find out what rotors to get that will fit. If you don't mind, can you measure how wide the rotors you have are? I'm assuming that is why they don't work right?

From a guy who's had Willwood's ... save up the extra few hundred dollars and get the Porsche/brembo caliper that take full advantage of the S60R rotor sweep area.

I picked a pretty circuitous route and arguably cheated slightly, but I'm going to get there

I would have to agree with Erik - having seen how much of the rotor is unused with Wilwood's, I would not use them.

Joe's got the Porsche big blacks and I am not impressed with the pad size. I feel that the Wilwoods have a bigger surface area (not the ones Ben showed). My S4 has bigger pads with a single piston caliber (super sized ;) ).

I'm on a budget. These will cost me half of what it would cost to get the porsche's.

But what your not understanding is that there isnt exactly a huge assortment of rotor sizes for the 5x108. If you have to go custom rotors you are going to have WAY more in your set up then had you gone with a porsche BBK. There is more involved then just rotor size involved. You need to know how thick the rotor needs to be for those calipers. I am not saying its not do-able. Just saying it might get more involved and expensive then you think.
