Offset sucks and the hub bore is too small.

The offset too big, so you have to use adapters, which makes the bore issue irrelevant. And a nice adapter with studs isn't a bad idea to begin with.

As long as you properly research how to run them you'll be free if problems.

However, in my opinion the wheel is meh and too skinny. Especially for 240 a wheel.

Yes, the price is steep, I like the look though. And wouldn't wider than 8" be a bit awkward for our cars?

But this is good news, because if they catch on for tuners, there may be an influx of 5x108 wheels.

How would an 8.5 or 9 inch wheel be awkward?

No...that's more like "I ordered tires that are 15-20mm too narrow because it's cool...?" awkwardness.

That car has only half of the equation finished. If it was lowered enough to be rid if the wheel gap there would be a substantial increase in attractiveness.

However, an 8.5" wheel with the proper offset could be fitted rather successfully with a more squared sidewall.

And what's the practical difference between an 8" wide and 8.5" wide wheel with the same damn tire? Not sh1t.

Able to put a lot more rubber down. The tire is 235 wide and still has stretch to it.

And you can't put 235s on an 18"x8"

You can technically. But why would you put it on an 8" when it would look better on an 8.5 or 9?
