Went through about 4 or 5 most recent pages in the cosmetic section of the forum and didn't see anything about them.

Anyways wondering if anyones gotten some yet. Looks simple enough. And yes i know and have looked at the LED swap pinned above.

The smt's are nice, but those other ones with the 5 leds are not very good at all. They burn out too fast, too. Ive tried just about every led that fits our dashes out there. SMT is the way to go, hands down.

agreed, also its much better to have larger contact surfaces and not just a wire like the IPD ones. This helps the bulbs from loosing contact and going out after you put it all back together and hit a bit bump. You also want to try and mimic the 270deg of uniform light that a bulb has because our clusters are all lit with light pipes that are fed all around the bulb spots.

This is the best overall style I have found



I have also used this style


by wrapping strips of aluminum foil around the contact leads around the outside to the other part of the wire to make the contact surface bigger, this prevented them from going out over bumps
