I have zero preference. For some reason the pistols I like just happen to be striker is all.
Kind of like how I own RWD, FWD and AWD cars.

Taurus OSS :P

awesome! too pricey and too powerful for me I would think though.

been looking into getting a modern yet affordable 9mm lately or something similar, preferably for concealed carry... any suggestions? I already have a 38 s&w snub and a 22 ruger semi long barrel

edit p938 is likely BUT high end of the budget - would prefer less

You can pick up a P938 for 550 delivered with an extra mag. If you want to stay less than that, what about a Rami?

Really? $500 was my goal/budget - from my initial research I saw $700+

The Rami is interesting, and I don't know anything about. It looks smaller, looks like it could be cheaper too and can go 14+1

really I need to get somewhere to get my hands on some of these I think. I have pretty big hands/long fingers. I just don't know enough yet honestly...

Canik TP9 SA is like $300 or $400 you know and its a great 9mm, but its full size. If you want a compact the sig 320 is pretty good too.

My personal experience with striker fired sigs is they are all junk. Same for their polymer frames. If you want something that size, look at the P239.

If 9mm is the question Glock G19 is the answer! 45ACP? Just by a G21sf or Gen4 G21 and move on!!

You can't beat CS, aftermarket and magazine prices and availability of Glock pistols.

Shoot them back to back. Never seen anyone buy a Glock if they shot a Sig or FN the same day. If you think it handles nicer though you would be dumb not to get it.

I bought two Marlin 795 22's last week for my boys, on sale for $139 each with a cheap-ass scope included so I couldn't pass it up.  We went out last Saturday to the Conservation League and shot about 600 rds between the two and they had a good time. A friend joined us with his AK, AR and a couple of pistols, I took a couple of pistols and that goofy Hi-Point 995 I bought.  I haven't had any issues with it after 1000 rds and it's pretty accurate to 75yds.

Last year at this time there was ZERO .22 ammo available, now the shelves are full everywhere I go.

WASR-10.   Cleaned it up real good the other night, if I have time I'll go to the range tomorrow.  Not insanely expensive by any means, but seems overpriced once you take it apart and see how simple it is.

The stock feels really short, like they made it exclusively for somebody with short arms.

Neat.  What are the options for those who want to modify this for us long armed folk?  I'm sure it's not as plentiful as the AR-15 scene, but would assume there has to be something.

There's quite a few aftermarket stocks available.  I just ordered a Magpul Zhukov stock, it's adjustable and the price is right.

Put your armour back on and stock will be fine. You order from Atlantic?
