i don't know the terms:

the grip thingy on top, the handle?

semi auto and able to convert to FUll fire selector?

ability for HUGE round clips.--- a hunter should only need one round. i'm ok with 6-8 for misses and animal charges. so we just put a pin in the mag, doesnt really do much.

a spin off or origins of all the military weapons. b/c the military uses accurate weapons, we need to use the opposite? not to mention pretty much everything you use is from military (cell phones, computers, internet, and most likely the rubber in a fleshlight came in some way from military applications)

a weapon thats convertible into other configurations between grips, stalks, barrels, firing rate a gun doesnt come out of mold in one peice

listen i argue this multi times a week already with people. you know at your heart i'm right, and i'm not against all guns either.

so no more black guns, only vintage looking wood.

Last time I checked that had a 10 to 15 cartridge magazine, no? So 6 shots vs 15 before reloading, that sounds like a lower capacity in deadly force in the brief period of time before LEO arrives on scene.

Same number of rounds, same caliber. Both the revolver and pistol are semi-auto. So why is the pistol more deadly? Not being flippant, just asking.

I was speaking on clip capacity before reloading and speed / ease to reload. I know there are quick swap clips for revolvers so the two guns may be equal under the parameters I was judging them by.

why do people need semi/full auto hand guns?
For the same reason that crazy people want them. Because they're better at killing people (than single-fire). Just VERY different justifications for their use.
deterioration of the nuclear family, the saturation of violent entertainment that desensitizes the individual, or the media celebration of these shooters. And yes, I said celebration.
<<<You aren't just talking to a bunch of dads and a crazy guy :P. I think I partially fall under the generation you're referring to. Does this help or hurt my arguments?

Thats what I was getting at. Its commonly excepted the most common pistol in the US is the M1911. Its 9 rounds. Lots of revolvers are 8 rounds. Does 1 round make it that much more dangerous? In the case of the desert eagle, its only a 6 round magazine. Thats a pet peeve btw. I do not know of any pistol to ever use a clip.

if you are found in possession of any illegal gun thats loaded, auto 10 years imo.

I keep telling you move to FL. In FL we have 10-20-Life on all firearm related felonies.

i'm talking just possession though, not just use.

we need to get rid of gun show clause.

we need COOL OFF period

we need background including mental check before all sales.

get rid of loop holes in AWB if you want to reinstall.

As an aside I am mid-process building a Gendarmerie IX flintlock.

1. Possession of any thing "illegal" is going to be a felony.

2. WTF is a gun show clause?

3. I think all states have cool down period unless you are military, LEO, or are permitted.

4. Mental health is taboo

5. Ok, but what about ones on street?

I know the re-passing is a knee jerk reaction...pretty obvious....and it's ridiculous...not because i want the guns to stay, but because none of the 10 million people here who own these guns is going to turn them in, so they will still be out there, and high powered assault weapons have been around since WWI, and maybe before since I'm not familiar....people go on killing sprees with guns pre stupid lawas

3 buy backs, you are now a felon.

gun show loop hole about on site purchase.

even permitted buyers can wait 2 weeks.

limits to number of guns permitted to purchase per year/life. you want a new one, turn in an old one.
