Hey, sorry that lappy did last you long. I was going to recommend you pick up another used one on Craigslist, they seem to be a dime a dozen now.

No worries, thanks for it anyways - it clarified that the logging sample rate/time issue was with the Toshiba Satellite.

Maybe someone can help me with this.:

I installed a M4,  with an automatic bin flashed,  in a 1996 850R with an automatic transmission  with its Original TCU (TCM).

I'am getting errorcode 3-3-5: TCM request for MIL (CHECK ENGINE light)).

Point is that when reading the TCU it doesn't contain any errorcodes.

It does this with every (automatic) bin, even an unaltertred 607 bin.

I tried an other M44, same errorcode..

Both ECUs originate form a car with automatic transmission.

I know of one other person experiencing the same thing.

So, I'am wondering if there's some kind of incompatability between a M44 ECU and a 850 TCU.

Has someone installed succesfully a M44 ecu in an 850 with it's Original TCU without having 3-3-5 as an errorcode?

Isn't 607 the auto bin?

My son & I just converted his 97 850 to M44 using your software mod. Only issue we had was the baro & ambient temp sensor codes. 

Pretty sure you need the 607 bin :)

607 That's the biin I used.

Your son's 850 is that with automatic gearbox?

Wtf. Mobile app is shite. Nothing I typed was saved.

Anyway, yes, auto gearbox, default for US market since most people here don't actually learn how to drive ;)

Note: this was the conversion using an 850 ECU, not a S/V70 ECU.

Same here... No issues with 850 autos and M4.4. I wonder if there is some sort of euro version, board level, hardware difference that causes the problem. Do you have any US spec ECUs?

Both M44s   I tried are from the states.

The car and TCM is european..

Both ECUs are out of cars with an automatic gearbox.

With both ECUs I got the errorcode 3-3-5: ( TCM request for MIL)

 

The signal of the TCU for mil request enters through pin B26 of the ECU

According to Vida , with M44 B26 has a voltage that equals the battery voltage if there isn't a TCM request for MIL

And, also according to Vida, with M43 B26 has a voltage of battery voltage minus 1.5 volt if there isn't a TCM reques for MIL

 

I don't know if this subtle difference could be  the issue?

So clearly it isn't because of the combination of a M44 and the TCM of a 850 then.

Strange thing is that also changing the TCM with an other one don't solve the problem either.

Reading the TCM doesn't reveal any errrorcodes.

Wit a M43 the erorcode isn't  generated.

So now I run out of possible causes.... very frustrating....

i have a Problem now, i converted a 850r Automatic 0261204134 too m4.4 ecu 0261204457

 

i flashed a 607 bin

 

but for now i always get EFI - 335 and P1618 error codes

 

do you think the m4.4 Manual ecu dont work 0261204457 ??

D'oh, never thought to look for the vauxhall figures.

Shem has all the correct values for the VXR injectors. He has fitted a couple of sets in cars over the past 6 months.

Volvo, Speed Density would be great, Ive been talking to another member about is and he said he would like to do it too. I am helping a friend out with his car, He is wanting to run throttle bodies with no MAF. 2 conclusions were came to. Find the MAF limp table and use that or hope someone makes a speed density mod, The latter would be much better though
