Post a .bin and .xdl. As has been discussed earlier, don't use the P-part .bin, just use a normal .bin and zero out the P-part and KFP2 factor in the .bin.

Oh Thanks. I must have overlooked that discussion. I will certainly try that and update later.

Any Russians following this thread?

There seems to be some information about some of the Bosch chips in M4.4 on the page below, but I think you need to be a participating member to download.

avto-electronik.ru/datasheet-mikroskhem-tranzistorov-primenyaemykh-v-ebu-avtoelektrika.html

For example B57914 dealing with multiplexing of analog/digital port.

We already using this for our logboxes.

Maarten made two 16 channel versions of them, but production of these turned out to be too expensive.

He is working on a somewhat simpler to construct and therefore cheaper 8 channel version,

Adding 8 extra logchannels will suffice for most situations anyway, 16 channels are a bit of an overkill.

Good evening!

Yesterday evening I finished my IWIA meter. IWIA stands for I Want It All.

I have chosen to only use the logging data of the Mercuric logging. If I want to see the oil temperature, I could use an analog input of the Arduino board, but it makes more sense to me to use a logbox like Piet mentioned and let the ECU collect the data. This is a more consistent approach to my opinion.

The meter has been built into the left vent. opening. The original function is still working although less effective.

Last tests on the bench:

While driving. Boost bar, boost value, lambda value, battery voltage, coolant temp.

This is how an error or out of range situation gets presented:

Every error will be dispayed during the rest of the trip. One by one. More important is that the circumstances during the occurance are displayed as well.

The error or out of range items can be anything we log. I have chosen tu use Battery voltage, knocking, fuel trims, coolant temp, lambda, boost spikes and injector duty cycle. But the can be "anything". ;)

Hi,

I can't open the link.  What is the attachement including?  What is your issue?  Do you have an original bin and can't find a matching XDF?

Thank you for your replay.

I don't think I have original bin. All i have is this file that I have read. It should be already have some kind of tune. But I want to rework it, and XDFs dont seem to match.

I have attached it to post and here are some download links:

I hope you will be able to download file from one of the links or attachment.

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

It was a bit annoying to download your bin and make tunerpro to accept the file.

The file is a bin based on the stock ECU 0261204450 (176kW B5234T3)

I made a matching .xdf for your .bin and i think you will be very happy!   :)

Renamed and checksum updated bin: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ylxj3ch87l1tgwf/0261204450_1037357520_1.bin?dl=0

Matching .xdf: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4ms1p50pcenauzb/turboforslund_0261204450_v1.xdf?dl=0

Happy tuning and flashing.

Will this BIN work on a stock 98 S70 T5 manual. I am looking for a Bin to get started on. I have been a Volvo enthusiast for years but no money no time now my wife is finally working and the kid is in college so it is time to play. I will start a thread once my vag-com and software arrive from California. And I have just got a TD05-20G turbo.

I am a newb but a quick study. If some one can help me out this would be awesome.

Hi,

I've noticed in the Bin. file that the max load in the ignition map is 8.02ms

But in the TCV target load setpoint the max is 11.712ms

I thought the TCV target load setpoint couldn't exceed the max load of 8.02ms

t shouldn't ideally. It's just how some tuners work unfortunately. Basically, the load request is above the max that can be measured with the stock maf. The turbo will be free spinning, and the 8 ms row of the ign/fuel table is used for wot tuning. Of course it will be suboptimally tuned for everything between 8 ms, and whatever load is generated at wot.

It's a rather simplistic way of doing it, without needing to install a properly sized maf, or rescale the load axis. With a near stock td04 turbo you can get away with it because the max load generated will not be far enough from 8 ms to notice it's running rich / late just below wot.
