Haven't tried logging yet, but we really haven't made too many changes so far. (Just injectors and minor boost threshold increase). One thing I'd like to change is the idle bump when the AC is turned on. It tends to drop a bit more than I'd like at idle with the trans in gear. Is this the chart to change that? The top is the std -607 map and the bottom is the stock -936 version. Or any suggestions to bump the idle up a touch when the AC is engaged? It was doing the same thing with the stock ECU. [/img] I'm also still not keen on the cooling fan not engaging whenever the AC is turned on, like it did with the stock -936 ECU, but apparently that is what these things do. Since there is this rad fan control XDF available, maybe I can tweak those settings a bit. Just need to dig up the details behind it. Are the values in the XDF "stock"? There isn't any documentation as far as I know but it's pretty self explanatory. Fan mode 1 is the most common one that kicks in at 102degC. The values are stock as they are in the damos file and the values are the same for other bins too. The only value I'm not sure is the 4th fan mode, as the speed and run time is a lot lower than the others. The speed threshold is in km/h and I guess stops the fan mode kicking in over that speed. The fan runtime is in seconds and each step is 3.06 seconds. Not sure why there are 5 speeds for the Coolant temp and less for the speed threshold and run time. These are all the values listed in the damos. Yeah, I figured out what each was for, but was confused about the difference in numbers of speeds vs thresholds/runtimes. I was also confused about the 5 different speeds part. I didn't think there was any modulation in the fan speed, just the high speed for the cooling fan (and low for the AC). Is there a fan controller on a later model that this is making use of? There's only two pins allocated on the ecu one for high speed and one for low speed. Maybe the different modes share run times and speed thresholds. Yeah, I think there is a missing piece of the puzzle. There is no way (That I see) in the MY98 cooling fan control to change the fan speeds. A quick search online shows that there was a (PMW?) control module added to the system in '01MY, but I haven't found any reference to that being a "mod" here.
