Yes I've searched and I know that you do not need a pilot bearing for the manual transmission.

What i couldnt find was does this mean remove the auto pilot bearing and run no bearing at all?

Aka remove the little clip then the bearing out of the crank?

Thanks!

there is def a pilot bearing. cuz i just put one in..... and yea you just remove the little clip. pull the old one out put the new one in.

part number 1397077 it goes right where the old auto one goes.

also if you want you can just leave as is. the old one is wider so there will be no issue. just no support on the input shaft, not that it is all that much but idk. personally id rather have it there.

There is absolutely no function for the pilot bearing on a manual transmission. Leave it in, take it out...does not matter. What does matter is that you dont go wasting money buying a new one.
