Shimming A Pressure Plate

I had a custom clutch disc made but its a bit too thick. Can I just shim the pressure plate and use longer bolts?

Depends. I shimmed my Spec PP .050. You have to be careful not to upset the T/O travel/PP finger relationship. What differential are we talking here?

Not sure. When I can get my hands on a mircometer at school I will let you know. Do you happen to know the thickness of the stock 850r clutch disc?

.315" that seems really thick to me.

DM clutch disc are 9mm .353". So, yours is around 8 or less? ( didn't do the conversion) does NOT seem too thick to me... What's the inset distance to the rivets?
