Comments: Bought a used 1998 V70 XC AWD. Was a good experience. Car alternator died 2 days after we bought the car and a mechanic came to the HOUSE and DELIVERED a loaner and jumped the car to take back with him. Fixed a couple of other recalls while they had it also. Was a GREAT experience all the way around.

I own a 2000 S70, and recently retired from the military. During my career, many moves across the country, and after owning many cars and experiences with different dealerships, I have found NOBLE Mercedes/Volvo to be the WORST Dealer I have ever had the mispleasure to deal with. This was not a one time event, but three seperate events with each department, Sales, Service and Parts. When shopping for a volvo, I looked at used Volvo's at Nobles, and a Noble Salesman showed me a 98 S70. I asked him if it had side airbags, and he pointed to a three letters in the B pillar or close proximity, saying yes. Later, I found out it did not, the three letters meant steel side strengthening for side impacts. He told me what I wanted to hear, not the truth or did not know the products he was selling.
When I bought my new Volvo at then Continental of Virginia Beach, OK Sales dept, but now under new ownership, I required a oil filter wrench to remove the plastic oil filter housing. I went to Noble Volvo, and asked the sales manager, just happened to wait on me, for an oil filter wrench. He said they did not sell them. I asked him where do the Volvo mechanics get them, and he said through Snap On. I found this hard to believe and when out and talked to a mechanic, a young man, very helpful and courteous. He said they sold them in the parts department, showed me his wrench and then took me in and got one off the shelf for me. I told him the sale Manager just told me they didnt sell them, and he replied, yes, they say that to try and get people to come in for oil changes. Parts Manager was purposely deceitful in his answer to me.
Finally, car would not start one morning under warranty period, had towed in. The Service Manager called me and said the Throttle Body needed cleaning and the plugs requred replacement. I said ok to the throttle body cleaning, 32K on car, but asked why the plugs needed to be replaced. The Service Manager said the plugs were soaked with gasoline. I said thats funny, the plugs are always soaked with gasoline, thats there job, and by the way, I just replaced the plugs, 2K miles ago with new plugs. He said nothing for awhile, then regained his composure and said, well you should have the throttle body cleaned anyway. Mis-information was presented to me to obtain additional work, that was not needed, by the Service Manager.
I highly recommend you DO NOT PATRONIZE OR DEAL WITH NOBLE CARS OR NOBLE MERCEDES/VOLVO, all they want is your money and will go after it however they can get it. That is my personal experience and opinion.

I too had issues with Noble Volvo. I needed a fuel door hinge, and some compression rings for an oil change. The bill for everything was $16. I asked the service manager how the hinge installed. He told me the incorrect way to put it on, and I had to go back to buy a new hinge. The next day I went in to purchase the hinge, and it alone was $19. I asked why the price difference, and he said 'They must have been on sale'.
