John H. Rating: 7 Comments: The sales department is as slimmy as a slug, and cannot be trusted. The sales manager is extremely unwilling to cooperate with the potential customers, and untrustworthy. As for the service department, they are acceptable, but slow. The shop is clean and organized, but there is no attention to detail from the mechanics. Things are done 95% complete. The advisors are cooperative and willing to explain the problems to the customers, however if you want a loaner car you have to have major work completed on your car and they have to have you car overnight. Therefore, the customer is stuck paying for a rental car and the repairs at dealer prices.

Anonymous Rating: 5 Comments: A total of two visits: The first one was to diagnose the fact that the cruise control on my '98 was quit working. After two hours and forty-five minutes they figured out that the cruise controls on the turn signal stalk had failed, and sent me on my way, having been assured by the service writer that it was repaired. I got the car out on the freeway and tried the cruise control. Still dead. I immediately returned to Volvo Orange County and complained. The service writer informed me that the part they needed needed to be ordered and that indeed they had not repaired the problem. They promised to call me as soon as the part came in, which took almost two weeks. It took them just under two hours to install the switch upon my return visit. I also asked them to reset the service light at the same time, and they informed me that they charged $15 for this service. I might be willing to understand this if somebody just walked off the street and asked for this, but in view of the fact that they billed Volvo for close to $200 for the cruise control repair, I thought it was a little tacky. Due to my limited experience, and the experience when I did visit them, I can only recommend Volvo Orange County with caution. I'd probably pick them over Volvo Irvine, however.

RV Rating: 10 Comments: This dealer has ALWAYS taken care of my Volvo problems. I have been doing business with them over 20 years and they are the only dealer I will recommend. Sure, from time to time there are mis-understandings, but in every instance they go the extra mile to make things right.

SleepyHeadzzz Rating: 2 Comments: the sales people are very shady, i remember when i bought my car they closed at 6 but we got there at 5:50 the salesman had a really pissy look on his face, and at aound 6:20 when we couldn't settle on a price we decided to leave, the sales manager gave us a dirty look, proabbayl mad because we made him stay after work an extra 20 minutes. they are very unwilling to negotiate prices and purposely did not tell us that the car we were buying had a 1000 rebate on it. service department workers are idiots, can never give me a straight answers, PARTS section however are very nice people they are the only reason i did not rank the dealership a lowly 1.
