Comments: Usually very hard to schedule, due to volume. Have to be firm on what you want done, otherwise they will gouge. If you don't like the work, ask to speak to the gm, and be firm with him. They expect you back off.

Comments: My S70 has been with this dealers service department for 35 out the last 50 days for the same problem. They damaged the paint on one of my visits. I will be traveling an additional 60 miles to avoid this dealership in the future

I took my 850 to this dealership about 3 years ago for some service work there. As the above user stated the dealership will fix things that you did not want fixed or messed with without even asking. When I returned to pick up my car there were several items on the list that they said looked questionable so they were replaced and I received no call asking permission to do them.
I now own a S80 and tried them again recently. Same result...
If you are in the area of Toledo, OH then take your Volvo to an independent shop called:
Bavarian Autosport Inc.
672 W. Boundary St.
Perrysburg, Oh
43551
phone: 419-874-0680
They are very fair here, and do excellent work. They work on BMW's , Volvo, VW and other euro cars.
I recommend them.
