my mom has the stock 17 inch volvo rims on her s80 and they dont rub. i believe she has 205/35's on there. you should be fine, i bet you could fit 20's on an s80 with not TOO much trouble.

235/40/18 will definitely fit without rubbing. That is the recommended tire size from TireRack for you car for 18".

That can't be right. 205/35 is an insanely thin profile tire and does not even come close to being the correct load rating for an S80. Take another look please.

no, def. not a 205, must be a typo.. btw, sup toxic, long time no see ;P well, thx for the info..I figure, if a s60r can handle a 235/40/18, my car would accept that also. I have huge wheel wells.
