Bloody hell. Thats monkeyed UP. I doubt they would have covered the damage that would have caused.

I laughed at "monkeyed" in the quote. That clutch would have shredded the input shaft bearings to hell and back. It would make the car a hell of a good massage chair, though.

Almost back on the road. New clutch disc arrived and is true. Trans is back in and ready to go. Replacing the rack/pinion for a non-leaking version then button up the sub-frame with the new lower control arms w/powerflex bushings.

Back on the road again.

1. New Transmission w/Quaife - replaced syncro's and assembled with brass forks

2. New IPD end links

3. New lower control arms w/black Powerflex bushings

4. New rotor and brakes.

5. New Nitto NT-05's

6. New kevlar clutch disc

7. Turned, stepped and balanced the flywheel.

8. Replaced rack & pinion and tie rods

9. Rolled the fenders to accommodate the larger Nittos

Back to tuning...

Sorry man, I barely have time to work on my own car. Had to take time off work just to finish it.

Have you looking into renting one? Costs about $40. I live 2 hours from you, would you drive all they way here and back to save $40?

Nah, I just don't wanna mess it up and you already worked on an 850 lol. I might try renting one some time.

Its really not a difficult process. I was worried about it too my 1st time... Take it slow and keep it warm. Thats all there is to it...

My car is a piece of crap anyway idk why I'm worried about it lol.

Then wooden baseball bat between tire and arch, roll car while keeping the bat leveraged into the lip. With a helper of course...
