I need a set of wheel locks for my Volans.

Do they make something to protect my precious Volans from you hooligans?

Tire Rack doesn't list them and Google came up short.

You can get them from Volvo...

I bought some used (big mistake) the "key" is very very succeptable to getting "rounded off" which pretty much means your're hosed, or you just suffered a major setback. If you decide to get wheel locks, get the brand new, and dont even think of using the OE tire iron. get a nice 3/4" or metric equivalent deep socket and a breaker bar, because the wheel lock key needs torque to be applied at a good angle, as not to round off the corners.

I got burned at this last weekend, and had to drop 50 bones to have a tire shop get 'em off.. all while I was in the middle of painting my rims..

We ended up buying a used set of Columbia's for $400.00 Canadian only to find out we needed chrome studs & lockable studs. I believe it was like $250.00 from the dealer but what do you do? When we purchased our 850t it came with snows with short little steel studsfor steel rims.

just dont let hooligans come close to your car, or put an aftermarket bolt locks

I can't discourage the use of OEM wheel locks enough....I mistakingly left them on when I took it to my indy mechanic and he used an airgun on them....well he cracked the key which made it very difficult to remove the locks from the wheels...I had to goto the dealership and use another key (which is stripped trying to get the locks off)....I've since stop using them in hopes that someone will steal my 16s

I just ordered a set of "gorrilla" lugs from www.discounttire.com .
It was $45.00 + shipping for the entire set including the wrench adapter. Basically, every lug is a locking lug in this set.

saw a new set from the dealership on ebay like a day or two ago..if u wanna try ur luck with that! ..but i would jus get it from the dealer

put your car on blocks and get a friend to steal the 16s!
then claim insurance on them


then after a while, sell the columba's

I got some off Ebay from "TheVolvoPlace". Brand new OE wheel locks... $27 shipped I will be buying a deep socket for these as per Kevin's advice.
